After we agreed on an itinerary and price for the trip, Oscar’s plans worked out smoothly without any unexpected surprises. All of the places we stayed at were reasonably comfortable and the food was tasty. Oscar was very knowledgeable about the natural history of Paraguay, demonstrating expertise in identifying the plants, reptiles, birds and mammals that we encountered and discussing aspects of their biology. He was enthusiastic and energetic while searching for wildlife, and he was well prepared with recordings of birds that he used to attract target species. He was able to converse in English with those in our group who were unfamiliar with Spanish.
